Hobby Shop

The Hobby Shop, located in Building 272 (directly behind the Library) and available by appointment only, is a newly improved workspace for authorized patrons to pursue their interests. The facility contains indoor and covered outdoor auto lifts (must be operated by MWR employees), a wide variety of tools, a wood shop with 15 primary stations and an assortment of hand tools (MWR training course required), three pottery tables, and a kiln.

All work at the Hobby Shop must be paid for in advance at the Community Recreation Complex. Cost is $5/hr for Active Duty/Dependents, $7/hr for all other authorized patrons and $2/hr for each minor dependent accompanying a parent (minimum age is 13). For booking and other questions, call (601) 679-3437.
